Cain Leathem, top UK Fitness trainer and director of GB Fitness, took two British athletes to the WBFF European Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in November. Nothing unusual in that asCain has been advising and mentoring champions since 1994! The two people with him in Rekjavik were 50 year old, lifetime natural bodybuilder Paul Daley from Nottingham and Rhian Adams-Jones, a Miss Wales beauty pageant winner, Miss Wales Toned Figure Cahampion and international rugby player.

atulations to two time world champion Helen Jenkins who has been recognised for her outstanding performance this season at the British Triathlon Annual Awards, being named British Olympic Athlete of the Year alongside male world champion Alistair Brownlee.
The prestigious award rounds off an exceptional season for Helen who finished the year winning her second World Champion title in Beijing in September – earning Jenkins a place at the London 2012 Olympics.
Jenkins also won the Female Elite Triathlete of the Year award.

Udo’s Choice Announce Triathlon Race Series Champions 2011

The Winners have been announced for this year’s Udo’s Choice Triathlon Race Series, a series of five triathlons which take place across Yorkshire and Humberside. Points were awarded to the first 49 finishers in each event. 50 points for 1st place, 48 points for 2nd, 47 points for 3rd, and so on, down to 1 point for 49th place. Alongside this, competitors also scored 5 bonus points for each of the events entered.
Helen Jenkins Golden Girl in London
August 8th, 2011Congratulations to Udo’s Choice ambassador, Britain’s Helen Jenkins, who finished 1st at this weekend’s Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Champion Series – her first gold since her world title win in Vancouver in 2008.
Helen came out of the swim in 14th place, 13 seconds behind the leader, caught up during the bike leg to complete that section in 11th position but then powered her way through the run to win by 7 seconds, despite having struggled with a cold all week. She was thrilled to be standing on top of the podium, which included new first-time medallist Gwen Jorgensen and Anja Dittmer.
