In order to maximize active cells concentration and therefore potency, Microbiotics should preferably always be kept in refrigerated conditions. On the other end, there is no problem in keeping them at room temperature for a certain period of time as bacteria concentration will only slowly decrease in these conditions. For example, microbiotics can be kept at room temperature for 3-4 weeks when travelling and thus can be used as a preventive measure against Traveller’s diarrhoea either on a business or vacation trip.
